This project and Jenkinsfile will help you to start your first build on Jenkins.
This project uses a custom build Docker Image for Jenkins. (which is github.com/monofor/jenkins-docker).
You will see 2 Jenkinsfile in project. One of them is a simple one to help you for the first step (Jenkinsfile-basic). Second one is will help you to understand the concept about using Webhooks, external services etc.
You can use Jenkins for any automation.
