This addresses the primary options set via Fantasy Grounds options menu. (The little gear button). Occasionally, experimental settings may be available.

Per User Settings

PC: Prompt owner to roll saves

Default: Off
Each player sets this setting for themselves. (Or set by the GM with char command /RRclientsaves) When set to to On, this will cause a popup with the roll whenever. This looks very similar to when a GM sends roll requests. If using the FriendZone or Cohorts and Companions extension, this will also popup the saves for client-owned NPCs.

  • Another character forces the player to make a save e.g. Fireball
  • Concentration is rolled
  • The character makes automatic death saving throws

View: Always show manual dice entry fields

Default: Off
When set to off, automatically hides the fields for manual dice and relevant buttons on the popup window.

View: Suppress Dice Animations

This is in the RR section of the menu for now
Default: Off
Stops the dice from being physically rolled and use a random number to resolve it. This does not work on dice math expressions such as 4d6d1. The GM can set all client to suppress dice using /RRnodice.

GM Only Settings

Broadcast message when user cancels a roll

GM Only Option
Default: Off
Pushes details of cancelled roll to GM and displays a basic summary for the user. Only pushes messages when a client cancels a roll. (No message when GM cancels.)

Allow rolls to be staged

GM Only Option
Default: On
Overrides the default roll resolution process to allow players and GM to see the totals for rolls before they resolve. The roll continues with the click of a button.

NPC: Prompt owner to roll saves

GM Only Option
Default: Off
Functions identically to PC: Prompt owner to roll saves, but for NPCs

View: Sidebar button (requires reload)

GM Only Option
Default: Show
If set to show, places the Requested Rolls button in the sidebar dock.
