Presssing and holding ctrl+k does not do as expected. There appears to be some lines skipped or missed.

I'm facing this as well. It also interferes with multi-cursor editing.

Yes. Same for me.
Now I'am, always marking a region with Strg+space and cursor down and than hit delete.
Is little inconvenient.
