[v1.3.1] Directors and writers' fix
[v1.3.0] Cookies
This update introduces two cookies so that, upon refreshing the page, the visitor does not lose their current viewing order nor their current number of shareable episodes.
[v1.2.0] Full flexibility
Following the release of the TV show, a few changes have been made:
- as Netflix does not prevent users from watching White episode before watching the other seven, the website has been updated to unlock White so it can be moved anywhere, as a regular episode
- as a consequence, Shuffle option fully shuffles now (including White episode) and Chronological option is fully chronological now (with White episode not being the last one anymore)
- copy updates have been made to reflect these changes, e.g. 40320 instead of 5040 possibilities
- in order to preserve the nature of the show, when opening the website for the first time/refreshing the page, the "Netflix Shuffle" sort option is applied. It is also available as a sort option. It's explained in the 3rd paragraph of the synopsis here: https://media.netflix.com/en/only-on-netflix/80992058
- a sort option producing a rainbow has been added
- the footer's heart emoji has a different color every X seconds
[v1.1.1] Timer bug fix and pink emoji addition
Two elements:
- a known bug about the countdown timer has been fixed so that it stays in sync even if the tab becomes inactive
- emojis have been changed from dots/squares to hearts so that pink can be used within an emoji rather than relying on brown as a compromise
[v1.1.0] Design tweaks
Improves the design with several elements (thanks @StephaneBranly ):
- font for title
- background color theme
- episode card design
- new sharing image
[v1.0.0] Initial Launch
Public launch and reveal of the website which supports the following:
- explaining what Kaleidoscope is
- displaying a countdown timer for series premiere
- displaying a random viewing order of the first 7 episodes
- allowing users to select different viewing orders
- ability to share it (even partially) on social media
