How would you like the feature to work?

Allow places to add their own events would rather different but also rather cool. Residents who follow these places might want to know if there are any incoming or ongoing events. These can be edited by the page owner or page administrators. Also, if events have already been created through the original event caldar then they can feed back to the page if it is based on the same location or place. Also, allow us to put repeating events in that calendar, we have events in our sim that happen every single day and putting that on the calendar manually would be hellish.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

I see it helping out the community in a event based way, I myself am part of a few gacha events (ie: Gacha Arcade, etc) and sometimes forget about the events going on or may have forgot the dates when it is going on. But also, it will benefit the community in lots of ways. I am not suggesting on getting rid of the events calendar set by Second Life but it would be rather cool to see a feature like this imbedded in the Places Page.
