Merge commit types in changelog

I'd like release-notes-generator to merge two kind of commits based on the type and the scope:

• chore(deps)
• deps

The conventional-changelog-conventionalcommits allows to set sections based on the type only. Do you see a way I could merge these two kind of commits into a single one for conventional-changelog to group them in a single section?

This was included in conventional-changelog-conventionalcommits preset with conventional-changelog/conventional-changelog#669. It's still to be added to the documentation, tracked with conventional-changelog/conventional-changelog-config-spec#53
