That made Github CI quite unhappy.
In general I'd refrain from adapting to MacOS, since everything is expected to run on Linux.
So perhaps try virtualization/containers with Podman or Lima, or just do dev on a cloud linux machine.

This was an accident, sorry for the noise! Never meant to base off upstream for this experiment, just debugging issues with networking on Mac.
