I had this problem as well, and solved it the same way. +1 pull request edit: nevermind, looks like it was fixed already... it's just not updated in express |

server root in windows is '' and when it is represented in javascript it becomes ''.
may be this is an issue with the path, but this solves the problem on two windows machines that i tested
