Hi, I've been away during easter and haven't been able to look at this.

I confess that I've never actually used the eclim-project-create function myself. I usually just create the project in eclipse, then run eclim-manage-projects and open it it emacs. Does this work as a workaround for you?

yes .long before i do this as you .but now i change it.because run Eclipse would waste my most time .and it make my computer run slower.

I'm not sure what happens here. I tried recreating your steps, but for me it works. What version of eclim are you using? And is you emacs-eclim up to date?

Also a bit confused by your second comment. You are running eclipse, right? Emacs-eclim is just a client process that need an eclipse server to connect to.

Well, emacs-eclim is not a standalone software, but a client that connects to an existing eclipse instance. So, you need to install eclim, then either launch eclipse as a regular application or run eclipse in headless mode. Personally, I've never run eclipse headless, so I can't vouch for how well that works.

The eclim project (http://eclim.org) has more information about how it works.

It's been nine months since we heard from you. I'm closing the issue for now. If you still have troubles getting emacs-eclim to run, please feel free to reopen and post the problems.
