WHMCS 7.7 will be integrating VAT into its core. This means we will need to adjust where we get the tax number from. We would also have to adjust the ledger logic to ensure the right ledger is selected.

WHMCS 7.7 beta has been released today. We'll start testing in a few weeks from now.

The EU VAT addon has been deprecated since WHMCS 7.7. This
implements the new, but backwards compatible VAT logic.
