General issue related to Sequana

Please see the official documentation of the Sequana projects: https://sequana.readthedocs.io/en/master/faqs.html

Issue related to the pipeline itself

out of memory (bcl2fastq step)

bcl2fastq takes lots of memory. By default, the pipeline uses 64Gb at max on a cluster. In practice, this is the memory required to demultiplex NextSeq data in some cases. 16Go is more reasonable and should work for most runs.

I do not have bcl2fastq installed

You can use our singularity image (Linux and Mac users). First install singularity tools.

You can then download and use a dedicated image as explained on https://github.com/sequana/sequana_demultiplex
