Syntax 3 is not allowed, even though it requests the same as syntax 4. I mention it because you recommend using the double hashtag when desired as it is a lot faster, but in this context don't allow it.

Does it work if you write the c. part at the end? The absorb() code is not super general, partly because I can't just parse the variables through "syntax"
