Hi,

I am considering using FallibleIterator as a basic infra in one of my projects (nothing important, but still) and submitted a PR with some functionality I'd want to get in. I see some other PRs opened and general lack of activity.

I'm perfectly aware that you have a ton of important Rust crates that you maintain, so I wonder what are you thoughts/plans w.r.t. this one. If it is not a current focus, would you consider appointing some help and let them review PRs and release stuff? It seems that it's not far from being 1.0-ready for a couple of years now, and it seems to me that it could be a handy interoperability primitive for iterator-based APIs around IO.

I've seen your answer on https://users.rust-lang.org/t/thoughts-about-fallibleiterator/71112/12

If no one else is willing, I could co-maintain. I don't have any big plans. I have a #24 , there are some other PRs, and that's kind of it. I'm kind of busy myself all the time, but I have some projects that are result-iterator heavy and FallibleIterator seems like a de-facto standard.

BTW. Would be great have maybe one more person, just so there's no need for maintainer to land their own unreviewed changes. :D

@matklad I just landed your PR from couple of years ago. I hope it's still useful. Made me think - you're very a reputable, would you be interested? I don't expect there's going to be a lot work. Once in a while a PR to review and hit a Merge button. At least that's how I see it.

Hiya, I'm also interested in being a maintainer, if that's helpful.
