mCrypt extension

Trying to install the application but these are the notices l do get.
l know its because its not been updated to the current php. Because it works perfectly on my old php version but doesn't work on the latest version of php. Can you please get me the updated version or advise me what to do.

1. Warning: mCrypt extension needs to be loaded for OpenCart to work!

2. Notice: Undefined variable: expire in C:\xampp\htdocs\clerkscart\clerkscart\upload\system\library\template.php on line 9

You only need to replace your system/library/encryption.php file with a later Version File, and it will work again as usual, I assume:
