"Please check your account settings" while checking non @gmail.com addresses

I was using old version of application with my custom domain (Google apps) addresses for ages until it stopped working recently. I have updated it to the newest version, but it seems that there is the same problem (probably, changes from Google side). I am not sure if this is connected, but my error log is full of these

It looks like custom domains work perfectly with the main feed https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom.

On the other hand, I still get "The server committed a protocol violation." exceptions in the log.

The exceptions you see in error log are caused by broken update mechanism (see Issue #132). It's safe to ignore them for now.
