I'm using elementary-xfce-darker, on arch linux with xfce4.

I created a launcher for a panel in XFCE4, and set the icon to "network-server" using the tool GUI xfce4 provides. However, the launcher's icon did not appear in my panel. The panel is 30 pixels high, so I suspect it's looking for a 24x24 icon.

I followed the inheritance chain for the icon theme, and found that icon wasn't in elementary-xfce, but it was in the Adwaita theme, which elementary-xfce inherits from.

Except, the inherited propery in the elementary-xfce/index.theme file says "adwaita", but my adwaita installation is in "/usr/share/icons/Adwaita". To be clear, the former is all lower case, the latter starts with an upper case letter.

I created a symlink at /usr/share/icons/adwaita that points to /usr/share/icons/Adwaita, and restarted the xfce panel. The icon appears on my panel.

So, should that inherited property point to "Adwaita" instead of "adwaita"?

Yes, I think you're right. I fixed the typo. Thanks!
