regext

Extended regex, so you can almost read regular expressions. 😉

Compiles regular expressions and ignores whitespace and in-line comments, so it's easier to understand the expression.

    \w+           # Ignore first name
    \s+ (\w+)?    # Capture last name, ignore leading spaces
