From Discord:

I am converting some select to sl-select and noticed that if the sl-option value is "1", for example, and you set value=1 it doesn't work. You need to set it to "1". Regular selects work either way so now I have to toString all values before setting them. Is that by design or an omission? Since all values and sl-values have to be strings it seems like it would be easier if value accepted either.
