Sensitivity too low for HTC EVO 4g

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Calibrate G-sensor
2. Open Pedometer
3. Set pedometer to highest sensitivity.
4. Walk

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should count steps, stays at zero.  If you shake the phone quickly it counts 
each shake.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  Sprint 
HTC Evo 4G with Froyo.


Please provide any additional information below.
Some other pedometer apps do work correctly for counting steps.
