Summary

At BITSS, I worked with economist Edward Miguel to develop an online course called Research Transparency Methods in the Social Sciences. An adaptation of a graduate seminar by the same name, the course introduces students to the precepts of research transparency in social science disciplines.

Using over 20 hours of raw lecture audio, and hundreds of graphs, charts, and datasets, we created this 8-part course — replete with animated annotations. These slides show animations from the final course videos. All materials are available on YouTube. Coming in 2017 is an EdX version of the course, for which I am collaborating with BITSS's Kelsey Mulcahy and Katie Hoeberling.
