Fest Management System

A fest management system using PHP and MySQL. This was done as a part of Database Management System course.

Features

• Basic security used that includes hashed password and SQL injection
• Both client and server side validation
• Webpages designed using Bootstrap

Installation

• Install XAMPP or WAMP
• Close this repo into your htdocs directory
• Populate the database by importing the includes/festmanagement.sql file via phpMyAdmin
• Configure your database connection details in the includes/db_connect.php file
• Start the server and open the webpage in localhost/festmanagement

Maybe some stuff to do here:

• Prototype the UI

• Use something better than Bootstrap (surely can do better here)

• Migrate it to Laravel

• Use PostgreSQL over MySQL
