Gravitas and his team should try to integrate the OpenAssistant API to work with the Auto project. That'd be amazing, I wouldn't have to pay for OpenAI's API anymore lol

The main goal is to make it all open source/not locked behind paywall. They even have users training on it too.

I have the same thoughts regarding full open source experience :) ! I am currently looking into possibility of adding OpenAssistant as a second backend for AutoGPT but as I am kinda short of free time nowadays it will probably take same time to finish researching this idea. Nevertheless it is a great direction.
