Hello. |
just omit that package then |
Thanks for contacting me. sudo apt install -y gpsd gpsd-clients gpsbabel minicom socat git make build-essential I omitted and it installed fine. Sorry for repeating. Identify the USB Source lsusb I typed in the following response. Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub I think "Bus 001 Device 003" is applicable here, but which value should I enter? |
That command just lets you attempt to recognize if the system can identify that it is plugged in. Additionally if you want to insure the path to the device doesn't change if you use multiple serial devices. Please read the full article before asking more questions, I ensure you the answer is likely covered in the article already. |
Hello, thanks for all of this information. Since the UM980 and UM982 links you provided use the m.2 and mPcie, how can we connect that to the RPi4? Should we use an USB3 adapter? Is so, are we going to be able to get 100% rewards? Thanks. |
Thank you for contacting us.
The USB used is as follows
https://gnss.store/unicore-gnss-modules/247-elt0222.html
I have tried everything since then, but I can't receive data at all with
onocoy, so I gave up.
Can you do something about it?

Yes, you can use something like this to adapt it to usb. Or you can pick up any of the other models from gnss.store that already support usb or gpio for use with the raspberry pi. |
You haven't told me what you tried. Earlier you said you were having issues identifying the device. Comments isn't the best place to help. Perhaps you should ask on the onocoy discord server and either I or someone else can help you there. |
Looks like there is a typo in Unicorecomm UM980 and UM982 Configuration Script Doppler Position Prediction Configuration#CONFIG PSREVELDRPOS ENABLE Should be Doppler Position Prediction ConfigurationCONFIG PSRVELDRPOS ENABLE Could not figure out what is the right command for this |
