Line 24 should be:
@Html.ListBoxFor(model => model.Hostnames, ViewBag.HostNames as IEnumerable<SelectListItem>, new { @class = "form-control"} )
It currently has an extra htmlAttributes object inserted:
@Html.ListBoxFor(model => model.Hostnames, ViewBag.HostNames as IEnumerable<SelectListItem>, new { htmlAttributes = new { @class = "form-control" } })
e.g.
new { htmlAttributes = new { @class = "form-control" } }
should be changed to
new { @class = "form-control"}
to apply 'class="form-control"' to the listbox. I also add
new { @class = "form-control", style = "height: 500px" }
because my list of host names is > 60 items ;-)
