Description

I have this installed on Windows 10 and M1 Mac Ventura. I first enabled location on my Windows device with no problem; I added this extension mainly because my Windows system fails to adjust any browser's theme with time or geolocation on its own despite the browser having this setting enabled.

Since the settings for this extension do not sync across devices, I initially set the sunrise/sunset time manually on my Mac to test as I wondered if it would possibly interfere with the theme behavior that the OS already handles. I suspect that could be related. I tried to just let it adjust based on my location anyway, but it refuses to allow me to grant location permission to this extension even though I allowed it in the alert prompt.

I restarted both device's browsers to be sure it updated. I did eventually have it set on the third radio Change themes based on the system theme, so maybe this ultimately is a non-issue since it carries that behavior from the OS anyway, but just something I noticed.

System Information

  • OS: macOS Ventura 13.2.1
  • Firefox Version 120
