I have just installed gimp via snap.

When I try to change the interface language, language names appear as ????.

snap-gimp

This is the terminal output.

I hope this will be fixed when the next release of GIMP is made which enables support for relocating the iso-codes directory. Currently, GIMP is looking in a build-time location, which doesn't exist on end-user systems.
