A few times I have the problem that when brid.gy is trying to send a like to my endpoint it doesn't create the proper HTML page for the webmention proxy page.

Example:

https://brid.gy/log?start_time=1574170548&key=aglzfmJyaWQtZ3lyUQsSCFJlc3BvbnNlIkN0YWc6aW5zdGFncmFtLmNvbSwyMDEzOjIxNzY5ODc2NDU5NzE0OTMxNDhfMjI3N19saWtlZF9ieV8yMjIxNTQ1MDAxDA

links to

https://brid-gy.appspot.com/like/instagram/dominik/2176987645971493148_2277/2221545001

which answers with a 404 error message. It usually happens when the script that PESOS the Instagram photo to my WordPress site takes a long time - I guess the proxy pages have a timeout? But it seems like other likes for the same photo work just fine.

Hm, interesting - after about three hours the proxy pages worked again. I guess for my case I can close the issue and if someone else finds it - they'll know to just be patient and wait a while. :)

hi dominik! sorry for the trouble, and for any confusion. i actually fixed this an hour or so ago, but i hadn't finished updating docs and replying here yet.

we're limited to only a certain number of likes on Instagram since we scrape. i looked again and found a way to at least bump up that limit, though, from 24 (background in #722) to 50, which fixed yours here. thanks for the nudge!

Thanks a lot! And that's interesting! I was slightly confused since I saw that the likes were already in the brid.gy database, so I guessed it found them beforehand.
