The purpose of this is to demonstrate how mathematics serves as your "first language" so to speak. Therefore you can develop an intuition of the math behind conceptual ideas and apply them.
If you consider math as one driving factor towards this sentiment, another factor is the course correction you encounter within an estimated region. Ergo we have an opportunity to adapt the consistency of modern mathematical operations and have it infer what happens within conventional programming systems to guide our intuition further.
