Win32/Win64: Can't use diagonal directions on XBox 360 controller D-pad #30

I'm not sure if this is a Snes9x bug or a driver bug under Windows, but using Snes9x on Windows 8 with a XBox 360 controller you cannot go diagonally using the D-pad. It does work with the analog stick. Under Linux the XBox 360 works just fine.

Again I used the 1.53 builds from here:

Did you bind the POV diagonals to the diagonal bindings?

What are POV diagonals? I did bind the up button to up, left to left, down to down and right to right. But pressing left and up the same time did not work. Only what I pressed first was registered.

The D-Pad on the xbox controller is a POV-Hat, which means it has 8 distinct directions. The input configuration window has "Up Left", "Up Right", "Dn Right", "Dn Left" bindings, you have to bind these to the diagonals of the D-Pad.

I see. Strange that it's not like that under Linux with the same game pad.
