Feature Request: Pulling Custom Asset Reports with an API call

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

• It is not a problem just an annoyance. I am trying to get a couple fields from the Asset report and I can do it by pulling an API request for the information for all of the assets and then loop through that list and grab just the fields that I would like. It is possible to do with out it but it would be nice to have a call directly to a Custom Asset Report API endpoint.

• Be able to pull a Custom Asset Report with an API call

Describe alternatives you've considered

• I have looked through the API documentation and through the issues and I have not seen this feature or a feature request for it. I am sorry if I have missed it listed somewhere else.

I'm working on a CLI tool with Node.js that can leverage the API to access everything. It's currently still early and will take me some time before it's ready but you can somewhat accomplish the custom asset report by using the get hardware query option.

For instance, the tool would do a query like the following:

snipeitcli get hardware query --fields <basic|full|allfields|comma,separated,fields,to,return>

snipeitcli get hardware query --model_id 5 --fields id,name,purchase_date.formatted,assigned_to.id

# Export to file to be opened by a spreadsheet program.
snipeitcli get hardware query --model_id 5 --fields id,name,purchase_date.formatted,assigned_to.id > export.csv
