HomeAssistant Integration

The integration of EPEver2MQTT in HomeAssistant has changed fundamentally. SoftWareCrash and Jarnsen did a Discover together. This means that no entries are required in the configuration.yaml to create the sensors.

Requirements:

1. MQTT broker installed in HomeAssistant

Watch the video

2. EPEver2MQTT must be installed and MQTT configured.

3. There must be data in the WebUI.

Integration in HomeAssistant:

1. Check whether data is available in the WebUI!!

2. Go to Settings

3. Go to Configure and click HA Discovery on

4. Click Save settings, the ESP will do a reboot

Display in HomeAssistant

1. As a device in MQTT list

image There are so many devices created as EPEvers are connected in series to the ESP. The prerequisite is that the ID was assigned correctly in EPEver and was configured correctly in EPEver2MQTT. According to SoftwareCrash, 6 EPEvers are possible in stable operation.

2. The device itself

3. In the dashboard

If there no data in the dashboard, reboot Home Assistant!!!

thanks to @Jarnsen for the work!!!
