First automated build Pre-release
Pre-release

This is an automated build. Differences since v0.4.0:

  • Various fixes.
  • Updating README.md
  • Work around to allow SqAN "invalid" IDs and IPv4 addresses to be multicast to the mesh. This is primarily added to support devices that are tethered to a SqAN node
  • Removed AddressUtil work around
  • Stubbing in SDR MANET
  • Continued SDR MANET build out in prep for SqANDR coming online
  • Fixing the .travis.yml whitespace indentation for autobuild deployed assets of tagged releases

Stability and performance improvements on WiFi Direct MANET strategy

*** UNDER ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT! No backward compatibility guaranteed! ***

Stability and performance improvements on WiFi Direct MANET strategy. This effects both initial mesh formation as well as long term mesh stability. Testing so far indicates a consistently solid stream capable of supporting and sustaining low latency video (<300ms) to include multi-hop capability (streaming video from one device to another through an intermediary device).

WiFi Aware restructuring is still a work in progress.
Testing on Nearby Connections (I wanted to revisit that capability just in case) showed strong stability in a 2 or 3 device mesh and the ability to support video streams, but at a high (variable, often 4+ second and sometimes progressively growing) latency. Nearby Connections remains demonstrable, but unlikely to support mission needs.
