This Web Application is build in order to acknowledge the concepts of Django-Channels and REST APIs and to get a hands on experience in Live Web Application. This App is an emulation of Live Stock Market Websites like NASDAQ, DOW JONES, YAHOO FINANCE ETC.
- Lists top 25 Stocks from NASDAQ on the basis of Market Capitalization
- User can select his/her favourite stocks from the listed Stocks
- After selecting stocks User can monitor the Stocks Prices
- Prices get updated every 1 minute
- User can see the Increase 🔺 or Decrease 🔻 in Price
- Supports both Light and Dark mode
- Currently for Development Purpose This Application is using free version of Tweleve Data Api which allows only 8 requests per minute
- Enable it for Multiple Users
- First and foremost you have to Create an Account in rapidapi.com and get your API key
- Then you have to have a subscription for Tweleve Data Api
- Then replace/put your API key in the mainapp/consumers.py file in the project
- Then open terminal and run python manage.py runserver in the BASE Directory of project
