This PR needs to be abandoned as the entire example plugin has been re-written. Im not entirely sure this is needed anymore. |

The example app has been completely rewritten. The layout there reliably supports small screens (tested using device_preview).
This PR indeed can be closed.

Currently the example has overflow areas on smaller screen devices like iPhone 12. Fixed that in this PR
