Looking for debug suggestion please - @muc.say

Hello,

I am success fully connecting to both the irc server and the xmpp server. Messages are being relayed from xmpp to irc. The reverse though fails. I have looked at the function where @muc.say() is called. The object @muc is defined. However, the message never transmits. There are no errors thrown. The connect stays - no disconnects.

Do you have any suggestions?
