Welcome to the LogMyLife wiki!

Latest news:

  • 2011-01-13 – it’s not Friday, so hopefully releasing on the 13th isn’t an omen! The first LML alpha release is available in the Source downloads section. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but very functional, though there is much left to do. Try it out and let me know if there are any bugs. Also feel free to check out my blog where I discuss LML development among other things.

To install

  • Download the package
  • Make sure your settings allow installation of non-Market apps (for the alpha release):
    • From home screen, Menu button → Settings → Applications → Unknown sources (may vary by phone/OS version)
  • Select the download from your notifications bar and follow the install procedure

Or, if you want to play with it, clone the source and compile it yourself!

About LogMyLife

LogMyLife helps with recurring events and tasks by:

  • Logging when an item (event or task) was performed
  • Alerting when an item has not been performed for a specified period.

Examples of use cases:

  • How long has it been since I watered the plants?
  • When did I last change the filters on my furnace?
  • When did I get an oil change for my car?
  • How often have we eaten out in the last month?
  • What did it cost when we ate out?
  • Reminder to call home every so often.

Expected future capability:

  • Sync logs to matching website for the same purpose but with greater abilities like graphical log analysis.
  • Share/sync logs with other users.
  • Simple log analysis (summarize per time period)
  • Export data to spreadsheet

LogMyLife is free software. So you can help improve it!
