The --report option should be enabled by default. Maybe the option should be changed to --no-report?

This isn't enabled in HEAD; it's a simple enough change though. Do we feel the reports are valuable enough at the moment to throw the switch?

Text and HTML reports seem to be working pretty good.. did not intend to close the issue in the last comment however :-)

Yeah I don't see a problem with going ahead and flipping the switch. I hadn't done it since I didn't know if it'd be considered an interface change, albeit a trivial one.

This was never addressed in the 3.0 release maybe we set this to a 3.1 milestone and have it addressed by then?
