We want to establish an A/B testing environment on the marketing site that enables us to conduct experiments effectively. This environment should allow us to compare different versions of our web pages (headlines, CTAs, etc.) to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.

Note: We want to reuse the existing infrastructure to A/B test Cody as much as possible.

TO DO:

  • Overview of the current A/B testing infrastructure in Cody and its management system (feature flagging, experiment configuration, etc). A loom works!
  • List requirements and responsibilities for the marketing team/data analytics team for a successful implementation

What success looks like:

  • Ability to launch and analyze A/B tests --> Ideally, the marketing team is able to self-serve with small development effort
  • Accurate and reliable data collection

@gitstart-sourcegraph I believe this ticket can be closed, right? I'm not sure if Fabi talked to you. We decided to implement PostHog for our A/B testing environment.
