I'm getting a Parent directory /etc/php5/conf.d does not exist error on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit.

This might be a PHP 5.5.9 thing not directly an Ubuntu thing; but since PHP 5.5.9 is the default php5 on Ubuntu 14.04, then it I guess it still applies.

After locally updating the ext_conf_dir attribute, I can verify that installation worked. Though I did run into an issue with trying to purge the installation. Perhaps there should be a :reinstall action available to the php_pear resource.

I am hoping that #107 and other changes in 1.6.0 has taken care of this issue for now.
