Thank for taking the time to fill this feature request fully. Without it we may not be able to , and the issue may be closed without resolution.

:person_frowning: Problem Statement

We should change this cookbook to be resource driven
We should only support binaries and not compiling the application
We should include pulled pork into this cookbook as well

Rebuild a lot of the cookbook

We should not maintain two tightly coupled cookbooks and should instead have one cookbook which covers all common use cases of this cookbook.
