ok, it worked. Thank you for fixing the problem so quickly. I'll help you get all the bugs out of the browser version (as I must be one of only 3 people that actually dont use the app)! |
You're welcome. I promise I'm not as dedicated as it looks. I just happened to be looking at my issues list when a new one popped up... Also, the answer is somewhere closer to 10–20 people. Spread the word! :) |
I try, I do try to get more people to play...unfortunately unless they are dedicated players who love the game (which isnt the case with newbies) it is very hard to convince them to play the browser version due to its "deficiencies". So i try to get some people that do have droids to play when I can so that they can use the app, which seems to be superior to the browser. |
If you can identify the 'deficiencies' of which they speak, I can target them better. As for an iOS port, the idea is thrown around but I don't know of any serious effort. In the end it would probably be zond's project. |
Well in regard to the browser platform...
...one of the main deficiencies being the circles and rectangles used to denote armies and fleets, respectively, instead of something similar to the cannon or battleship used in Droidippy.
Also, it would be nice if the entire scs region was colored instead of just the star icon.
I will say that one upgrade from the Droidippy platform, is that I like how the Orders page has a list of all of your units and it indicates whether or not an order has been input for them.
