From in the "contacts" tabs,
Right-clicked, asked to import file.
This error dialogue immediately pops up

Error Exporting/Importing contacts, there's also someone posted in BCT forum the same issue on MAC.
4.0.x has the same behavior. Works in v3.3.8.
