Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have documentation that points to many peer-reviewed journal articles. These articles provide references to DOIs (https://doi.org/) in order to ensure that articles are permanently available, despite things like changing hostnames.

Currently, I cannot provide an exhaustive list of all the potential redirects that can come from https://doi.org/ (nor do I want to). I also can't specify that a redirect from a DOI URL is not a warning. Detecting real errors is a labour-intensive process.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to check that links are providing valid redirects, and have an option to run linkcheck while only raising errors for broken links on warn_is_error.

Closing. There was an error (broken link) buried in the output. My bad!
