What is Tornjak?

Tornjak uses the SPIFFESPIRE architecture to provide a “zero trust security architecture. And builds on top of this architecture to simplify the identity workload management framework across deployments. Tornjak provides a very easy and intuitive interface for managing complex identity tasks. It supports integration with Identity and Access Management engines, and it provides a secure way for remote execution of the selective SPIRE functions. It allows a single point of control for distributed identity systems, including cross-trust domains and multiple SPIRE servers management, allows users to specify custom properties for workload entries, allows an easier way of managing relationships between entities, and more.

What is Tornjak For?

Tornjak is designed to do the following:

  • Easier and seamless use of SPIRE and managing of workloads
  • Better management of workloads based on the criteria the agents/ nodes share, hence better organization of these nodes and their workloads
  • Visibility and recommendation of selectors during the creation of an entry/ entries
  • Easier way of creating and deleting of workload entries, agents, and tornjak clusters
  • Visibility of all SPIRE server and Tornjak resources in one unified dashboard view
