If we have a different object and metadata engine, a failure will only roll back the object engine, then a `finally` block will commit the new empty image to the metadata engine. To avoid that, rollback all engines on failure and delete the staging image.
Use empty arrays as an example of an array of a scalar. (this also makes the default airbyte_cursor_fields valid, as `[]` is a falsy object, as opposed to `[""]`, so we won't break Airbyte's replication/normalization.
