(When I am not coding professionally) I tend to explore and "hack" into firmwares of hardware I see around, to add functionality that I personally miss.

Now I am modding DDF-350 RC transmitter firmware, because I like RC crawlers and I needed four-wheel steering.

Before I was modding Zoom Multistomp series, trying to make new useful or creative software effects. I did it to give new life to the hardware, and enable others to do so as well.

I focus on documenting and publishing whatever I can find, as well as open-sourcing my results.

For my hobbies, I need not only computer, but hardware: all the items I mod, cabling long and short, tools and so on. Plus, some electricity and internet. Funds will go to support my e-bills, and acquisition of new hardware. I usually goes with cycle of my special interests: I acquire some funds for hobby, hack into whatever it is, publish.

I buy responsibly, for my experiments I prefer used stuff, re-use of cabling, rechargeable batteries or bench power supplies, and overall re-purposing of hardware at hand to give it new life.
