I'm Alistair Young, a hacker (primarily working with C# and python, along with home automation using CircuitPython and Arduino), maker, and science fiction writer originally from the UK, but now of Wichita, KS.

I work on a variety of projects as the mood takes me, but you probably know me from genie, an add-on for Windows Subsystem for Linux which allows the use of systemd and systemd services, or from Mouse Jiggler, a Windows utility which is exactly what it says on the tin.

As a full-time author, hacker, and maker, my writing and my projects are my primary source of income. Your sponsorship will keep me in house and home, my dogs in food, and my wife happy!
