I'm the developer and maintainer of several open-source projects which I'm not paid to work on professionally, and have nothing to do with my employer. Projects including:

Other than contributions here, I'm not paid to work on these projects. Funding can offset DNS and other operating costs. I'd like to think it can also buy a slice of my time and attention on a project, but the reality is, my primary means employment is demanding, my attention span and my time left on this crazy ride we call planet Earth is limited. My consulting company, Cmars Technologies LLC, will be handling contributions for tax and liability reasons as an incubator, until a project scales to the point where it really needs it's own governing entity.
