We are developing Vivliostyle, an open source typesetting system employing web standards technology. Through implementing advanced CSS page layout specifications, we are enhancing web browser's layout capability that enables us authoring complex publications, such as books, academic papers, or slides.

📚 What is the Vivliostyle project

The Vivliostyle project consists of a few sub projects.

• Vivliostyle.js — JS libraries for HTML+CSS typesetting with EPUB/Web publication support
  • Vivliostyle Core — HTML+CSS typesetting core engine
  • Vivliostyle Viewer — Load HTML and display the typesetting results on the browser.
    
• Vivliostyle CLI — Typesetting from command line and generate PDF.

• Vivliostyle Pub (beta program planned for late 2020) — A cloud platform for book writing, co-editing and publishing.
