I've fixed the typo and written a regression test for this... fairly easy. Thanks for the patch! I've added it to master and 1-2-stable. |

This is a bug related to promo. If you have a promo that makes the purchase $0, some gateways (usaepay) will reject the authorization and causing checkout to fail.
